On Proudhon (Marx) is a 1865 work by Karl Marx. Marx was asked by J. B. Schweizer to write a summary of the life and contributions of Pierre-Joseph Proudhon after his death. Marx was frank concerning his historical rival, and added that while it was uncouth to do so, he would leave it to Schweizer to "accept responsibility for having imposed upon me the role of a judge of the dead so soon after this man’s death."
