Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.
Leftist praxis (Greek: πρᾶξις "activity; practice") is the complement of leftist theory. It refers to the actual practices by which leftist beliefs are to be embodied and realized by their adherents. The Young Hegelian philosopher August Cieszkowski understood praxis as "action oriented towards changing society."
