Anarcho-communism (also known as an-com, anarchist communism or libertarian communism) is an anarchist ideology that incorporates principles of communism. It is likely one of the most popular anarchist ideologies.[citation needed] Unlike Marxist-Leninists, anarcho-communists seek to establish a communist society immediately following proletarian revolution[citation needed] rather than by way of a transitional socialist state (i.e. a dictatorship of the proletariat).
