Guevarism
Guevarism is the revolutionary theory of the Marxist–Leninist Erenesto "che" Guevara.
Characteristics
Foquismo
This ideology is based on the idea of foquismo. it believes in a revolution led by Vanguard small armed units practicing guerrilla warfare in rural areas slowly making their way into urban areas.
Basis
It has its basis in Marxism-Leninism and it's ideas such as vanguardism. Another basis is in anti-imperialism, believing that all countries under an empire should be freed if people of the country already fell out of favor for their rulers.
Peasnats, Guerrilas and land reform
Guevara believed that guerrillas had a lot of similarities with peasants, emphasising their collaboration to lead the revolution.
Cosmopolitanism
Guevara was cosmopolitanist, believing in the exportation of socialist revolution into any willing countries, he himself helped in multiple countries in both South America and Africa
Stalin and Mao
Guevara was a defender of both Stalin and Mao, standing on the side of China in the Sino-Soviet split,[citation needed] which likely contributed to his departure from the Soviet allied Cuba. He was really supportive of the idea of protracted people's war per teachings of Mao and drew a lot of inspiration for his guerrilla tactics from him.
