The Gravel Institute is an American crowd-funded non-profit "creating short videos to combat right-wing disinformation and bring left ideas to new audiences."[1] It was founded in 2019 with left-over funds from the Mike Gravel 2020 presidential campaign.[2] The Gravel Institute is intended as a left-wing answer to the right-wing propaganda outlet PragerU.
Participants
The Gravel Institute works together with prominent left-wing voices to present their videos. These have included and will include H. Jon Benjamin [1], Briahna Joy Gray [2], Zephyr Teachout [3], Matt Karp [4], Bernie Sanders,[3] Chelsea Manning,[3] Cornel West,[3] Slavoj Žižek,[3] Richard D. Wolff,[3] Stephanie Kelton,[3] Nick Estes,[3] and Gravel himself.[3]
