Critics accuse Dengists of supporting social-imperialism, class collaborationism, or even chauvinism against Westerners.
Comparison to other ideologies
Dengists have been compared[who?] to patriotic socialism in the sense that they may be supportive of "AES" countries and the Russian Federation; they both uphold private ownership of the means of production even into socialism;[citation needed] they both view national struggle as more dominate to class struggle, and so forth.
