To look good, Jeff Bezos donates some of his wealth (which was pretty much entirely derived from exploitation), however he shuts down a more discrete measure to achieve the same benefits for homeless people by threatening to stop development in Seattle if the tax goes through. Bezos also lowers his tax burden by donating to a charity.
