The People’s Socialist Republic of Albania, known as the People's Republic of Albania from 1946-1976, was a people’s republic in Southeast Europe that lasted until 1991, though the communist Party of Labor continued to hold power for a year afterwards in the succeeding Republic of Albania.
PSR Albania was one of the most advance socialist states in human history. From 1956-1990, it was the only socialist state to exist on the planet.
