David Harvey is a British-American Marxist author and economic geographer. Harvey's work A Companion To Marx's Capital has been cited by leftists to analyze and summarize Karl Marx's well known magnum opus, and he has also written Marxist analyses of imperialism, economic history, and other topics of interest to the left.
