Chunichi Shimbun (Kanji: 中日新聞, Kana: ちゅうにちしんぶん) is a leftist Japanese newspaper which was founded in 1942. In the Kanto region, it was published under the name Tokyo Shimbun (東京新聞).
The Chunichi Shimbun owns a professional baseball team, the Chunichi Dragons, as well as Chubu Nippon Broadcasting And Tokai Radio Broadcasting Co., Ltd. in Nagoya and Tokyo Metropolitan Television (TOKYO MX) in Tokyo.
