Neoconservatism is a reactionary foreign policy position which advocates an increase in imperialist military intervention in other countries over isolationism or soft power, or subversive actions such as election interference or color revolution. The term is common in powerful imperialist states such as the United States of America, where it became official policy by the George W. Bush administration, supporting interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
