Made by Harrystein. Automatically categorizes the page where template is placed. The separate templates for "a or the", "cat=", etc. are to ensure that the category name generated is clear and easy to read.

This template takes two essential numbered (i.e. unlabeled) parameters; the rest are named. Do not use any parameters but the first two without a label like type = etc.

Don't take this template to mean that we have a policy against any and all sources being used; it should be used with discretion depending on how egregious the lifting is. I only created it to standardize the "Great Soviet Encyclopedia" lifted content, which made up entire pages.

{{Lifted content
| the or a, if needed
| name of source
| type = article, section, etc. (defaults to "article")
| italics = yes (or blank)
| link = hyperlink if applicable, starting with "https://www."
| cat = name of source, if needed for clarity; when in doubt, leave blank}}

Examples

{{Lifted content||Jacobin|italics=yes}}
{{Lifted content|the|Great Soviet Encyclopedia|italics=yes}}
{{Lifted content|an|article on WikiSpooks|link=https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Wikipedia|cat=WikiSpooks}}

(Page would be added to category named "Pages with lifted content from WikiSpooks".)

{{Lifted content|type=section|one or more|Marxist Internet Archive Encyclopedia entries|no|link=https://www.marxists.org/glossary/index.htm}}
